This page tracks the customer MCP. It is separate from changes to the Nimt app
and your AI client's own releases. See [changes and compatibility](/mcp/compatibility)
for how to handle updates.

## August 31, 2026 — Initial pre-release documentation

* Published documentation for connecting to the hosted Nimt MCP server.
* Documented OAuth and personal access tokens, including the one-workspace
  boundary and how to revoke access.
* Documented the initial read-only tools: `workspace_list_projects` and
  `project_get_metadata`.

The MCP remains in pre-release. This entry is not a general-availability
announcement; use requires confirmed access from Nimt.
