Connect Nimt from Claude on the web or desktop without a terminal.
Add Nimt as a remote connector in Claude and ask about your projects in a normal
conversation. You do not need Claude Code, Node.js, or a local MCP proxy.
Nimt MCP is in pre-release. Follow this guide only after Nimt has confirmed
access for you. Add the custom URL below; this guide does not assume a public
Nimt listing in Claude’s connector directory.
Use the current Claude web or desktop app and a Nimt account with access to the
workspace you want to connect. Anthropic documents custom remote connectors for
Free, Pro, and Max accounts. Team and Enterprise owners add the connector for
members, who then authorize their own Nimt accounts. If your desktop app does not show the controls, use Claude on the web and update
the app. Account policies and UI rollouts can affect the steps. Check
Claude’s remote connector guide
for current availability.
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors. Some versions put Connectors
inside Settings. For Team or Enterprise, an owner first opens Organization settings →
Connectors and adds the custom connector. Members can then find it in
their own Connectors list.

If Claude detects authentication settings, keep OAuth enabled. In the
two-step dialog, choose Always required and Use Anthropic’s hosted
client metadata when detected. Nimt also supports automatic
client registration. Leave manual client ID/secret fields empty.Use Streamable HTTP if asked for a transport. Do not append /sse or put a
personal access token in the URL.

3
Connect your Nimt account
Save the connector, then choose Connect if prompted. Sign in to Nimt,
select the workspace Claude should access, and review the requested
permissions before choosing Allow access. Return to Claude.
4
Enable Nimt in chat
Start a new conversation. Open the + menu, choose Connectors, and
enable Nimt. If you blocked either Nimt tool in connector settings,
review that permission before trying it.
Use Nimt to list the projects in my connected workspace.
Choose a returned project, then ask:
Give me a Nimt briefing for this project: its brand, tracked models, active
prompt count, tags, and available data range.
Inspect Claude’s tool activity to confirm it used Nimt. It should discover the
project before requesting its metadata. Continue with
example questions.
To stop using Nimt in one conversation, turn it off in that conversation’s
Connectors menu. To revoke its credentials, disconnect the Claude approval in
Nimt’s Connected apps.To use a different workspace, disconnect the relevant approval and authorize
again, selecting the intended workspace. Previously shared conversation content
remains subject to Claude’s data handling settings. See
authentication and access.
